On the state program of voluntary blood donation
In 2008-2012, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency implemented a major program of the Blood Service. The program involved 83 subjects of the Russian Federation. On the implementation of the program from the federal budget allocated more than 16 billion rubles.
In 2008-2009, the program covered 11 health facilities under federal jurisdiction and 41 medical institution subordinated to the subjects of the Russian Federation.
