They found that the choice of exterior men, that we like, often depends on our health and on the phase of the menstrual cycle. And the most remarkable thing that finally debunked "macho" as the desired type of man most women.
I enjoy reliable man, strong and durable? This may indicate that you are not all good health. The researchers found that women choose a more painful brave men than healthy. The explanation given is that subconsciously woman chooses a man as the father of her child. And women with poor health is necessary to choose a healthy and strong, to ensure the health of their children.
The studies were conducted as follows. 4500 women from 30 countries were given two male pictures. One was a courageous person, with a broad chin, and on the other - a softer, feminine with a jaw like Johnny Depp. Women from countries where health is not particularly different, chosen a courageous man. And women from countries with good health, choose a type of beautiful boy.
Another thing the researchers noted. In the most favorable for conception menstrual periods women were chosen as one more type of manly men.
