 Daily Mail has published new research that proves that women spend on shopping trips throughout the life of the order of 25 184 hours and 53 minutes, which is almost three years! We took into account the purchase of clothing, accessories, food and accessories for the home.
Here's what the researchers considered. In just one year, 84 times a woman attends a supermarket, spending is 94 hours and 55 minutes. For clothes, we go 90 times a year: this includes 30 visits to clothing stores (100 hours 48 minutes), 15 visits to shoe stores, 18 shopping accessories, and 27 visits in the cosmetics and perfumery.
These figures have been multiplied by 63 years (scholars believe that it was so many years we are active for shopping), and the result was a figure close to the 3rd years, to be exact, then 2 years and 10 months.
Most likely, the figures would have been even more impressive if the researchers calculated how much we spend on e-commerce!
