 In 2009, LG Electronics is the first among the Russian business community has become an official partner of the state program of development of uncompensated mass blood donation.
In collaboration with LG and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) regular donor Days are held in the office, at the factory and service representative of the company. At the time points of blood donation every employee has the opportunity to voluntarily become a member of a corporate donor campaign.
Days donor - is not the only form of cooperation between LG and FMBA of Russia. The three-year partnership of the parties to develop a system of mass blood donation also involves technical and technological support for the development of "Blood service" in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as joint efforts to advocate for mass voluntary blood donation and use of resources and the media to promote the idea of blood donation in Russia Federation.
Despite the recession and economic instability, LG Electronics continues to pay increasing attention to solving social problems, acute problems worldwide. Today in our country, the problem of shortage of donors is especially important. Every minute someone in Russia needs a blood transfusion. The donors are the only source of life for the sick or injured, because blood and its components can not be synthesized artificially. On the state program of voluntary blood donation
In 2008-2012, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency implemented a major program of the Blood Service. The program involved 83 subjects of the Russian Federation. On the implementation of the program from the federal budget allocated more than 16 billion rubles.
In 2008, the program was implemented in 20 subjects of the Federation, 6 covered medical facilities under federal jurisdiction and 15 medical institutions subordinate to the Federation. In 2009, the program is implemented in 41 institutions of the Russian Federation and the federal institutions of the Blood Service.
