 Scientists continue to struggle with aging. One of the latest developments - the definition of quality and speed of aging by a simple blood test. They found a protein concentration of which increases dramatically with the beginning of the aging process.
This protein is called p16INK4a, but the opportunity to reveal his science gives huge advantages in the fight against aging. Now it is easier to identify the rate of aging, the various stages. And also may be possible new anti-age agents, based on suppression of growth of the protein.
These findings will not only help fight the visible consequences of old age: skin aging in particular, but can help in solving more complex problems. For example, to predict and to combat development of cancer cells, to solve some of the problems with plastic surgery or transplantation. Thanks to this discovery will now be able to identify not only the chronological age and the actual, that is, to detect the presence of aging molecules.
