 UK doctors again started talking about the danger of increasing age of women giving birth. Recently published report of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists calls to stop the trend in society that give birth late is considered quite normal.
The report states that the number of older pregnant women is increasing every year. For example, in England, the number of mothers over 35 years old in 1980 was around 8% of the total number of pregnant women, but now the figure is 20%! Doctors say that it is not time to deal with the health problems of women. All risks of 40-year-olds compared to 20-year-olds, according to experts, increased by 5 times. The report detailed a very large number of complications, which previously did not even mentioned.
It expressed the view that on the developing trend of late to bear very much influenced by celebrities who give birth for the first time after 35 apparently refers Gvinett Paltrow, Nicole Kidman and other recent mothers.
