Perfumery app for iPhone
Canadian firm iScent Technologies announced the release of the application iScent App bundled with a special accessory that is suitable for devices iPod Touch and iPhone. The company claims that the device iScent, connected to the iPhone, is able to reconstruct more than 1,000 popular fragrances, which are selected from the application on the iPhone.

A company representative Fichet Avril says: "In tests, people could not exactly distinguish the original flavor and produced by our device, although these experts may notice some differences."

Due to copyright iScent can not use the original name of the fragrance, so Perfume assigned alternate names. Fichet adds: "We hope to conclude licensing agreements with companies such as L'Oreal and Coty, but we are only beginning to this project."

Along with well-known perfumes, the device can play a number of other odors such as the smell of a wet dog or a new car.

Of course, this is not the first digital technology, swinging world of flavors. For example, in 1999, California-based company has created a prototype device DigiScents called iSmell. It has created a variety of odors, depending on the visited web pages. Unfortunately, on the prototype did not get, and the 2006 PC World Magazine included this project in the list of the 25 worst foods of all time. Hopefully, we iScent better luck!
