Indian history
Un Jardin après la Mousson will be the third in a series of perfume Jardin by Hermès; its release to the world market is expected in May. Un Jardin après la Mousson was inspired by "the rainy season in India" and is a follower of fragrances Un Jardin en Méditerranée (2003) and Un Jardin Sur Le Nil (2005).

To create a third fragrance in the collection Jardins series, Jean-Claude Ellena, perfumer of the house Hermès, went to Kerala (state in India), where he watched the rebirth of nature after the annual rainy season.

To Un Jardin après la Mousson, Ellena wanted to fix unusual species in India, so he visited Kerala a few weeks later than the end of the rainy season, when nature has already started to return to life. Despite the fact that Kerala - a region known for its spices, Ellena eschewed hot, spicy notes in favor of fresh, vegetable chords, such as cardamom, coriander, pepper, ginger and ginger flowers. He also included in his creation of the notes of vetiver as spicy addition.

World release of perfume unisex, which contains herbal, floral and spicy notes, will coincide with the start of the rainy season in Kerala.
