 Dove, cosmetics firm, has just published the results of a unique international study on the topic: "The whole truth about the beauty."
It was interviewed 3200 women between 18 and 64 years. The survey was conducted from February 27 to March 26, with the help of the International Organization of MORI. Polls were conducted in ten countries: the US, Canada, UK, Italy, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina and Japan.
According to a study Dove only 2% of women in the world consider themselves beautiful!
It was found that 4 out of 10 women surveyed "feel at ease" when they are called beautiful. The term "beauty", applied to them personally, is "some concern." This uncomfortable feeling:
40% of women aged 18 to 29 years
43% of women 30 to 44 years
42% of women and 64 years ot45
Condescending to her are: Argentine, followed by Italian and American. Englishwoman - the last place in Europe. And the lowest rating their appearance give Japanese - which, according, researchers, bears the imprint of the cultural tradition of this country.
It is important to note that almost half of women (48%) agreed with the phrase: "When I do not feel beautiful, I feel insecure," I do not want the bad news, but the conclusion is clear: 98% of women of the world feel "insecure in itself".
It is a pity that the survey was not conducted in Russian - maybe it would have changed such sad statistics research DOVE!
