But on the streets in central Russia white acacia appeared not so long ago. Acacia lives about 50 years. In Europe, the first acacia had introduced gardener of Louis XIII by the name of Robin of the United States in the early XVII century. In honor of this gardener Carl Linnaeus named the genus and Robinia.
In Russia, Acacia has been known for over 200 years, however, it first planted in parks, gardens, boulevards southern cities, but gradually she mastered new territory.
