 After the release of the perfume collection devoted to Marlene Dietrich, Parfums Gres drew attention to the other star of the film - the Swedish beauty Greta Garbo.
Muse many couturiers 30th and influential actress Garbo called "Goddess" and "Swedish Sphinx". In honor of these epithets were named three flavors - Mythos, Sphinx and Goddess, issued Gres and dedicated to her.
The compositions were created by two relatively young perfumers - both born in 1977. Salaman Marie (Marie Salamagne) from Firmenich created the Sphinx and Goddess, and Amandine Marie (Amandine Marie) of Robertet - Mythos.
Mythos - Hommage a Greta Garbo consists of primary fruit notes of apple, orange, black currant and pineapple. Rose, freesia and peony constitute the "heart" and "base" wraps aroma of musk, sandalwood and iris.
Sphinx - Hommage a Greta Garbo also offers fruity notes of lychee, yuzu and peach. Flower "heart" is made up of white peony, rose and lotus flower, and the "base" - made of cedar, musk and patchouli.
Goddess - Hommage a Greta Garbo has a strong "beginning" of plum, mandarin and cardamom. "Heart" opens with cinnamon, heliotrope and jasmine, and the "base" consists of sandalwood, moss, vanilla and ambergris.
Bottles Hommage a Greta Garbo look like bottles collection for Marlene Dietrich: they are made of heavy glass and placed in a white and silver boxes. Each fragrance has its own color: Mythos - lilac, Sphinx - green and Goddess - yellow.
Flavors will be presented in the form of toilet water (60 ml) and will be available in spring 2009.
