Magnifique - the latest fragrance by Lancôme, which will be released this month under the tag line: "You are unique, you are Magnifique". The face of the fragrance became Hatavey Anne (Anne Hathaway); Perfumers: Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier. Spicy woody fragrance was called "olfactory interpretation of the red."
To begin with, that I - not a big fan of the perfume lines of Lancôme. Offhand I can not think of any flavor in their front line, which would be interested in and I wore, except Mille et Une Roses, and I'm not even sure that they will ever be sold. Hypnôse - their last grand fragrance - not at all impressed me. Title Magnifique - am I the only one who thought that this is another tool for mascara or hair, when he heard? And who found the "You're unique, you are Magnifique" very bright?
All contain good trend "wood accords women" welcome, and notes (the essence of saffron, cumin, Bulgarian rose, Rose Mai de Grasse, jasmine, sandalwood, nagarmota and vetiver) sounds intriguing. Quick breath aroma with paper test strips and a couple of weeks ago was quite interesting and made me much more impressed than Ralph Lauren Notorious, I tried about the same time.
Magnifique open standard sharp citrus notes and a few minutes warming up spices. When they come into force, they are pleasantly vulgar - cumin is not exaggerated, but it adds a bit harsh overtones of pink sweet floral notes. Bottom pretty dirty in the literal sense: it smells like earth and warm amber, musk trees. All fragrance as if wrapped in a transparent veil of vanilla sweetness, but, again, is not an exaggeration, but only with tiny hints of force. It is unsweetened and partly dark, and I think that the most successful time for him - this fall and winter than the summer heat.
He was not sharp, so many may simply not accept, but, for me, it's pretty cute and bold, and appropriate for the advanced cosmetic brand and much more interesting than many wood women's fragrance, released earlier, like Estee Lauder's Sensuous, Bvlgari Jasmin Noir, or David Yurman. I found it more sexy, and, in my opinion, it is more suitable for promotional pictures Notorious, than the Notorious.
The last powerful burst of very good, but spicy notes fade after a couple of hours, and they are especially polite.
